Missing schumi?

Yaaaawn...

Formula one has become boring.
Well, actuially, it has been boring for some time now but at least when Schumacher was around, Formula 1 was in the news because of things that were happening on the track.

These days however, just like as is the case with the Tour de France, the sport finds itself more in the news for events off the track.

There was a time when I didn't miss a F1 race, waking up early even for the races in the far east and Australia - even when friends insisted that F1 was the most boring sport imaginable.

But now thet just go on by and I suddenly become aware that I missed qualifying or heaven forbid, the race itself.

The fact that UTV is so biased towards Hamilton doesn't help and frankly puts me off the guy - and that's a bummer cos he seems really decent - unlike Mr Whiney-pants Alonso.

I don't even bother with Setanta because the commentators are useless - as are the Irish soccer and rugby comm, entators actually. But that's for another blog post.
